Summary
Kwon Taejeong, the troublemaking youngest son of the powerful Taeseong Group and a dominant Alpha, causes a public scandal with a road rage incident and is subsequently exiled to what might as well be a wasteland — the soon-to-be-redeveloped district of Daram-dong. His mission is simple: within three months, complete the demolition quietly and drive out the remaining residents without causing any trouble.
The biggest variable standing in his way is Yeon I-gyeom, the youngest resident of Daram-dong and an Omega. Struggling under the weight of a fraudulent relocation payment, his grandfather’s hospital bills, and private loan debt, I-gyeom barely manages to survive amid the constant threats from hired thugs. When the production team of the documentary “Nightmare of the Demolition Zone” attempts to revisit I-gyeom’s story, Taejeong approaches him under a false identity to prevent any media coverage that could interfere with the project.
Allowing I-gyeom to mistake him for the newly appointed manager of the demolition company, Taejeong begins showing him calculated kindness to serve his own agenda. However, drawn in by the faint scent unique to I-gyeom, Taejeong finds himself developing an interest he never intended.
“I-gyeom. How about we date for just two months?”
“...Excuse me?”
“It’s just— you don’t like thugs, but I’m not so bad. And I’m not into kids, but I kind of like you.”
“...”
“You won’t get an opportunity like this again in your life.”
Though he approached with hidden motives, even those motives begin to blur as Kwon Taejeong grows conflicted. And Yeon I-gyeom, weary of gangsters yet helplessly vulnerable to gentle adults, finds himself gradually drawn closer to him day by day.
