Summary

When Bilinda Baker arrives in the remote Cornish town of Tredregyn, she finds her new colleagues about as welcoming as the harsh coastline. But she soon makes friends with Maggie Warren, a very fun local woman with very unorthodox beliefs. What does a trainee priest do when she finds out her new best friend works at the Church of Satan? What's the housekeeper's problem? And why does Reverend Penrose always look so tired? The two women with wildly different worldviews puzzle it all out as they navigate the supernatural happenings in a sleepy seaside parish, and soon find out how hard it is to choose sides in a war between good, evil, and everything else.
