Summary
Koujirou Shindou, the Director-General for Policy Planning at the Cabinet Office, experiences an unexpected event during a work trip to Haneda Airport. While awaiting his departure, an enormous structure emerges out of nowhere on the runway, causing the plane and all its travelers to vanish without injury. Upon leaving the building, a plain-looking man emerges and assures everyone they're safe. Shindou presses the man, who goes by Yaha-kui zaShunina, for answers. Yaha-kui announces his intention to meddle in Japan's internal affairs to all passengers via a large screen projected onto the building's facade and text messages sent to their phones. Shindou, perplexed by the stranger's motives, chooses to negotiate between Japan and a secretive organization called Anisotorons. Will Shindou be able to prevent a catastrophe, or will Yaha-kui's machinations result in calamitous effects?
