Summary

Shortly before the Academy City space elevator "Endymion" is finished, Kamijou Touma and Index come across Arisa, a girl with a level 0 ranking. The Magicians are pursuing Arisa and launch an attack on Academy City. Shattoaura, a female leader, commands a team from Academy City to defend against the assault. Stiyl reveals to Kamijou and Index that Arisa holds the key to an impending war between Magic and Science. With Endymion as the backdrop, the clash of science and magic sparks the beginning of the tale.
