Summary
Greta, a commoner, has spent her life believing that love means little without money or status. Shaped by her parents’ failed marriage and her father’s obsession with nobility, she sees marriage as the surest way to rise above her station. Edmund, a noble, believes the opposite. Having grown up watching his parents preserve their love despite hardship, he despises Greta’s view of love and ambition. When two people with completely opposing beliefs become entangled in the world of theater, will their convictions remain unchanged—or will it make them to question what they truly believe?
