Summary

Things just aren’t going well for Udatsu, either at work or at home, and he ends up failing to keep a promise to his young son. His wife is angry, his son is sulking, and his own frustration continues to mount. In the midst of a quarrel with his wife, his son suddenly disappears. What will become of this family on the brink of collapse?
