Summary

As modern technology progressed, individuals ceased to worship the gods of weather, causing a decline in the powers of Yushi the Rain God. In an attempt to regain his strength, Yushi descends to Earth as a mortal named "Shi Yu." Upon arrival, an unscrupulous talent manager recruits him as a trainee for his failing entertainment company. Shi Yu is then tasked with participating in the talent competition "I am an Idol." With no regard for common sense and a desperate desire for attention, Shi Yu wreaks havoc on the show. Despite his tumultuous behavior, he gains enough popularity to debut in the boy-group SWEN alongside three other members. Later, Shi Yu learns that his fellow group members, Yang Dongjun and Zhong Yun, are also gods on a mission to restore faith by finding work in the mortal world... Bonus chapter included.
