Summary

The Earth suffered the Third World War, which lasted from 2099 to 2126, causing significant damage despite the absence of nuclear weaponry. Nations such as England, France, and China struggled to regain their power in the aftermath while new nations and groups emerged, like the Sacred Republique of Mumna and the Poseidon Organization. Deunan Knute and Briareos Hecatonchires, former L.A. SWAT members, survived the war and now live in a desolate city. Their lives take an unexpected turn when Hitomi, a young woman, invites them to join Olympus, a utopian city that is the leading global power. There, they become members of the elite ESWAT, whose goal is to safeguard the city against terrorism and protect its interests internationally. Throughout the story, the duo encounter a multitude of characters and organizations involved in international conspiracies that endanger the safety of Olympus.
